Ginger and blood orange create a synergy of citrus-like sparkle but with a deeper, more resinous density. There is a warmth and glow in this perfume, likely aided by the note of whisky. Hinoki or any kind of woodiness is more secondary. A great choice for those out there who want to still wear fresher perfumes in the colder months but maybe with a bit of nuance more suitable for the winter. It kind of reminds me of a holiday soirée cocktail with citrus rind and spices in ambery liquor.
