This auction is for a rare Ty Beanie Baby Smoochy the frog. It's rarity comes from a Single Thread Mouth, P.V.C. Pellets and multiple Errors.
It is in pristine condition. Never played with or displayed. Kept in a box for over two decades.
This what makes it a Limited Edition:
1. P.V.C. Pellets. Only the first limited release was made with P.V.C. Pellets. During the later, mass production the P.E. Pellets were used.
2. There's no stamp inside of the tush tag. That also means that Smoochy was borne before mass production.
These are the Errors that I was able to identify:
Both the Swing and the Tush Tag have Oakbrook as one word instead of two words. Oak Brook is the place of TY headquarters in Illinois.
