FABRIC RESEARCH & TREATMENT
NYLON METAL IN ECONYL REGENERATED NYLON: Swimwear made from Stone Island's latest sustainable fabric, iridescent Nylon Metal. This material is an evolution of the iconic Nylon Metal, using recycled ECONYL yarn. This fiber is made by complex depolymerization of unwanted pre-consumer and post-consumer nylon, achieving the same characteristics as nylon made from conventional raw materials. It is dyed after sewing using a sophisticated double-dyeing process with a special water-repellent substance.
