The name Minton has been a household name in the UK since the 1790's for Bone China and intricate patterns that adorn the various pieces of china.
Thru the years members of the Royal family were deemed to be important if their art work landed on Minton China, usually to boarder the dinnerware.
Later on to keep the pristine look of their art, they painted it on porcelain and set it in a frame and placed it on the walls of their home. (every man's home is his castle, but in the UK in the 1800's it really was a castle)
