Magnificent mid-century classical revival brooch featuring a large medallion portrait of Alexander the Great surrounded by intricate openwork filigree and dangling “coin” charms. Expertly crafted in gilded bronze with a richly detailed scenic reverse, this piece evokes the grandeur of ancient Greece and the opulent jewelry of 1950s–60s European ateliers.
Likely of French or Italian origin, the brooch showcases exceptional hand-finished detailing and boutique-level craftsmanship. It measures approx. 3.5” long including drops and is fitted with a secure rollover clasp.
