This is a Vintage Masonic belt buckle featuring symbols from both the Scottish Rite and the Blue Lodge of Freemasonry. This is a find and rare. From what I can find this is from early 1920s or later.
The belt buckle is a combination of two distinct Masonic emblems:
Scottish Rite Symbol: The top section features a double-headed eagle with the number 32 and the Latin phrase "SPES MEA IN DEO EST".
The double-headed eagle is a symbol for the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
The number 32 represents the 32nd degree of the Scottish Rite.
The Latin phrase translates to "My hope is in God," which is the motto of the Scottish Rite.
Blue Lodge Symbol: The bottom section displays the most recognizable symbol of Freemasonry, the square and compasses with the letter G in the center.
The square represents morality and is a symbol of acting within the "square of virtue".
The letter G has a dual meaning, representing both God (or the Grand Architect of the Universe) and Geometry.
