The Larson Electronics HLP-3W4P-480V-150A 480V Male Plug is suitable for ensuring secure electrical connections in industrial facilities. This unit is approved for mating with Class I, Division 2 disconnect receptacle units and comes with a 600VAC @ 50-400 Hz/250VDC voltage rating. The compact plug features a 4-pole, 3-wire configuration, a water/dust tight build and offers compatibility with 480VAC.
The 480V Male Plug is designed for use in both general work areas and Class I, Division 2 equipment (approved). This 150-amp rated device is compatible with voltages up to 600VAC @ 50-400 Hz/250VDC, including 480VAC. A total of four poles and three wires can be found on this unit. During operation, the male plug offers shell and pole grounding (grounding style 2). The HLP-3W4P-480V-150A is constructed of cast aluminum, which offers extended durability in demanding environments.
The heavy duty plug meets NEMA 4 Enclosure standards, allowing it to be used in both indoor and outdoor locations. This level of protection also offers resistance to water, dust and moisture. Extra wide electrical spacing is available on this unit for maximum safety. Receptacles accept only plugs of the same amperage rating, style and number of poles, making it impossible to mis-mate and provides for positive polarization.
