The Kiss Me Hummel is a little girl who probably is imitation her mother and grandmother, and It is widespread to hug and kiss as a greeting to all people you know.

This is a rare find as this is a New in Box Hummel. Never shown, never displayed. It has been stored since its purchase in 1970; she is a new-in-box with the original paperwork.



Special Notes for the Buyer about the redesign of Kiss Me!

In 1963 a request by M.I. Hummel's Convent requested to make the doll appear more like a doll being smaller and more toy-like.

To do this, the proposal was to have the doll smaller in overall appearance—smaller shoes, shorter legs, a more petite body, arms, head, and hair.

The position of the doll changed as well.
