This jewelry box belonged to my grandmother who died in 1921. It is beautiful but needs some repair to the fabric on the inside. 11.5" tall and 12" wide. The closures are all brass and in good working condition. There is a large brass handle on the drawer. There are a couple of items included: a hand mirror with beveled mirror, a brush with some breaks, a button hook and a small round container for makeup. There is a oval beveled mirror on each door. There is also a beautiful oval picture on the very top also framed in brass. Some of the velvet material is worn in places... Also needs some glue applied on the very top in two places. There are not many of these around. In my research I only found a couple. Very rare!!! Weighs 4 lbs and 4 ounces.
